AGRICULTURE IN PAKISTAN

Agriculture is the foundation of Pakistan’s economy, which depends mostly on its major crops. Pakistan’s important normal assets are cultivable land and water. Horticulture represents about 18.9% of Pakistan’s GDP and utilizes about 42.3% of the work force. The most significant harvests are wheat, sugarcane, cotton, and rice, which together record for over 75% of the estimation of complete yield.  Pakistan’s biggest food crop is wheat.
